About us

Founded in 1991, TESACO has been specializing in penstocks, flap valves, and custom solutions for water and wastewater technology for over 35 years. As a family-run company, we combine many years of experience with short decision-making paths, direct customer contact, and a long-term perspective.

Over the past decades, we have continuously expanded our production. Today, value creation takes place almost entirely at our location in Hahnstätten – from design and manufacturing to assembly.

This allows us to directly control quality, lead times, and technical adjustments. The close cooperation between sales, design, and production enables short response times and high flexibility, especially for custom solutions, project-specific adjustments, and challenging installation situations.

We do not see quality as a one-time state, but as a continuous improvement process. Our ISO 9001 certified quality management system supports us in regularly questioning and further developing our processes to consistently offer our customers high quality.

Technical support from the start

Many projects begin with a sketch, a construction drawing, or a tender. We provide support in selecting the appropriate valve, installation method, and actuation at an early project stage.

Our customers usually receive technical clarifications, project-specific installation drawings, hydraulic designs, and quotes on the same working day. Due to the close cooperation between sales and design, technical questions can be resolved quickly.

Instead of being passed between different departments, you receive reliable technical information quickly and have a direct contact person for your project. This saves time and simplifies communication for planners, buyers, site managers, and operators.

Thanks to our short internal channels, decisions can be made quickly and projects can be moved forward on short notice.

Stock program, flexibility, and custom solutions

We keep many standard sizes of our penstocks, flap valves, and manhole adapters in stock. As a result, numerous projects can be supplied within a short time.

At the same time, not every structure is standardized. Different manhole depths, space constraints, types of actuation, or special dimensions are part of our daily business. Thanks to our in-house design and high level of vertical integration, we can flexibly adapt products to the respective installation situation.

From planning to the construction site

Our support does not end with the quote. We accompany projects from the initial technical clarification through design and production to installation and commissioning.

Depending on the project, we coordinate with planning offices, precast concrete plants, construction companies, installers, and operators. This ensures that the supplied solution not only works on paper but also fits the actual installation situation on the construction site.

In addition, we carry out installation work, maintenance, and repairs. Even many years after commissioning, we remain available to our customers for repairs, spare parts, and technical questions regarding existing systems.
