Digital planning aids

With our digital planning tools, we support planners, engineering firms, clients, and executing companies as early as the planning phase. From selecting the appropriate design to planning drawings, CAD data, and calculating the required throttling opening, numerous tools are available free of charge.

Planning tools for penstocks

The following tools are available for planning and product selection:

Penstock configurator

With the penstock configurator, you can quickly create the technical specification for your thread penstock or control penstock. Based on your input, suitable designs, installation dimensions, technical notes, and planning drawings are automatically determined.

Planning drawings (PDF)

Our fillable PDF planning drawings show the most common standard designs of thread penstocks and control penstocks. They can be supplemented and saved project-specifically and are ideal for planning, tendering, and quoting.

CAD drawings (DWG / DXF)

Our continuously expanded CAD library contains standard drawings in PDF, DWG, and DXF format. These can be integrated directly into your own planning and design documentation.

Installation dimensions

The overview of standard installation dimensions supports you in an early planning phase. Alternatively, the penstock configurator automatically determines the required installation dimensions based on your selection.

Flow rate calculator

Use the flow rate calculator to determine the required throttling opening based on nominal diameter, water level, and desired flow rate. On request, we will also assist you with hydraulic design.

The following tools are available for planning and product selection:

Flap valve configurator

Configure your flap valve step by step. The configurator automatically creates a technical specification and points directly to the appropriate catalog sheet.

Catalog sheets

Technical drawings, dimensions, materials, and technical data for all standard designs.

CAD drawings (DWG / DXF)

Standard drawings in PDF, DWG, and DXF format for further planning.

Opening pressures

Technical data sheet with guide values for the required minimum opening pressure of our standard designs.
