Installation methods for TESACO flap valves

Whether it is a classic concrete wall, a round prefabricated manhole, a pipeline, or a sloped embankment structure: Our modular system offers the suitable, low-maintenance installation solution for every structural situation according to DIN 19569-4.

Installation methods according to structural situation

1. Installation on a flat wall

The standard case for flat concrete structures such as wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, or discharge structures.

Anchor version (Standard): The flap valve is anchored directly onto the flat concrete wall using anchor rods, mortar cartridges, and permanently elastic sealant.
Availability: The most popular option for both stainless steel flap valves (G10) and flex flap valves (G11).

2. Installation on a round wall / in a round manhole

The tailor-made solution for modern prefabricated manholes and circular structures.

Anchor version with manhole adapter E15-005: Since manhole walls are curved, we use the special TESACO E15-005 manhole adapter. This perfectly compensates for the curvature so that the valve rests absolutely flat and closes securely.
Options (for G10): Available as a standard manhole adapter or in a time-saving collar design (sealing is done purely via sealant without the need for grouting).
Availability: For valves from DN150 to DN500, suitable for manhole diameters DN1000 to DN2000, in our fast 1-week stock program.

3. Installation on an embankment section

Specially optimized for water discharges and flood protection systems with sloped walls.

Particularly interesting for: Flex flap valves (G11), as the EPDM cover seals extremely reliably even at difficult angles. Perfectly suited for typical embankment slopes of 2:3 or 1:1.5.
Anchor version (Model G11-002): The valve is anchored directly onto the face of the sloped embankment structure.
Insert version (Model G11-003): The valve is inserted directly into the pipe ending at the slope (spigot end).

4. Flange version & insert version (Direct pipe connection)

When there is no concrete structure, but a direct connection to the pipeline is required.

Flange version: Acts as a sturdy adapter for connecting to existing pipelines or flanges (PN10, PN16, or special hole patterns). Bolts and gaskets are provided by the client. (Available for G10 and G11).
Insert version (spigot end): The valve is simply inserted directly into the smooth pipe end. An extremely fast and uncomplicated installation variant for pipelines. (Available for G10 and G11).
