For these applications, we offer special long-nut versions for drill-free installation as well as shaft adapters for standard round shaft diameters. Penstocks and shaft adapters are factory-aligned and can be integrated directly into precast production.

We provide support as early as the planning phase with installation drawings, technical details, and project-specific solutions. We also provide [planning drawings] for many standard applications. This allows recesses, installation parts, and precast elements to be coordinated early on, reducing installation effort in the plant and on the construction site.

In rainwater retention basins, storm overflow tanks, and throttling structures, water flows must be purposefully stored, regulated, and discharged. Depending on the application, penstocks are used to shut off individual parts of the system or control penstocks are used to define the outflow quantity.

Water Outlets & Backflow Protection

At water outlets, flap valves prevent floodwater from rivers, lakes, or receiving waters from entering the downstream sewer network. The valves open automatically when water is flowing out and close automatically during backflow. Depending on the installation situation, stainless steel flap valves or flexible flap valves are used. Especially on sloped embankment sections and outlet structures, flexible flap valves often offer structural advantages.

Emergency and shut-off barriers are used to quickly and reliably interrupt or divert water flows in the event of an incident.
